I am James Trout. My professional life has been about building consensus and achieving solutions that work for the good we have in common. I am a candidate for the Missouri Senate, 15th District.

We deserve solutions that are about authentic work, not just words. The incumbent super-majority has had the time, money and votes, but has wasted our most important assets and opportunities, all for a small group of special interests. Fiscal responsibility and compassionate stewardship must be restored this year. Our government has claimed “no new taxes” when in reality they simply deferred the unfinished work, the bankrupt accounting, the deferred maintenance to our children, and stripped our infrastructure clean.

Ultimately, it's about insisting on accountability, expecting real solutions and all of us getting excited about doing it right. This much we can do, and we can do it together.

I believe that empowering people and raising the quality of life for all are good investments that keep paying back. I believe we deserve better, and we can make it happen. I hope you do too, and that’s why I’m asking for your support.
